Yeah, I was asking because I have to write up some one-sheet type stuff for the Home boxset release and I was reminded how much hand-wringing we did about signing with Sony/Relativity at the time.    Now it seems kind of quaint.   They actually treated us awesome.   bought us a van and a stuido and pretty much took whatever we sent them.  Then they decided to go hip-hop and cut us loose with a record they paid for.    It was all the indie labels that we worked with after that busted our chops and made our lives hell.  (except trance)

Eric, that essay got reprinted into at least two books I could find, but neither looked that interesting. Does that Negativland reprint do the job for you?

thanks.  i didn't actually need the article.  I remember it pretty well.  it was gospel in my home town.    Just wanted to cite it properly.
