I did, and I sent you a PM about it. I should have given you some credit in this thread, too, though. At the moment you sent that, we were looking for $40 more. Pat's $20 will provide us dibs on the crappity.com domain should it become available again.

I realize not everyone cares about that, but I do. It's the principle of the thing.

oh, I will have to check the pms, then.

Next we should pay someone to find the original iMusic posts and the early crappity posts that are lost to the ages.

Actually...does anyone know the history of the various websites we've posted on? There was iMusic and then... was it a form of crappity?

I have some of my initial posts on iMusic dated from November 29, 1999 - January 26, 2000 ... this site was originally set up in September 2003 ...what happened in 2001 and 2002? Does that database exist in any form?

NO, those are long gone.

First we were at iMusic, then we were at GriftersMusic.com. Then we decided, since we were more about general stuff than the Grifters, that we ought to have a different name. So then we were crappity.com. Then Crappity.net. And now crappity.org.

Okay, I had all that in my memory banks except that I wasn't sure if grifersmusic.com ever actually happened. I seem to remember a very posh, graphics-heavy alternate site being drawn up at one point that was never actually used. Part of me wants to say that it was Jesse who created it... but I was drinking a lot. Like skid row a lot. Like not the band skid row a lot.

We were at griftersmusic.com when? Were we on there on 9/11? That would be interesting posting to revisit. I have virtually no memory, artifacts, or evidence of anything that happened in my life between 2000 and mid-2003.

I filled countless notebooks, disks, and file folders with an accounting of my college life and my then burgeoning relationship with W____ (circa 1995-1999) ... but   midway through the Summer of 1999 my depression and alcoholism rendered such an inventory entirely obsolete and my memory runs dry.

My life from July 1999 to August 2003 is a complete void other than a few T-4 slips, police station receipts, hospital bracelets, movie and concert stubs that I found.

The only reason memories resume in September 2003 is Crappity.

God bless my Crappity memories.

I'd love to take credit for any of the crappity goodness, but the best I can claim is that I've been a cheerleader to the greatness that surrounds me here.

Our remaining dough towards our goal is just $20 at this point.
