My temperature is currently 100.7. Down from 101.4. Plus unrelenting diarhea.
Maybe I'm glad I didn't go to Memphis. Then again maybe I wouldn't have contracted the illness there.

I tried and tried, but I can't get it right. Bald men can't play Ratt.

Ah, the new Modest Mouse single sounds better to me than anything off the last album....so that's .... ..... good, I guess. At first listen it sounds to me like a move back in the direction of Moon & Antarctica, away from the Ugly Casanova trajectory that began on "Good News...". Well, the b-side more than the a-side.

yo.. the STAFF show went over amazingly well.. the comedy bit this time involved Tim getting a haircut from Geoff while I stood there wearing a blazer, holding a blazer for Tim. After the haircut I dusted Tim off and put his blazer on him, Geoff donned a blazer and we did We Do Weddings. All in all I'd say probably our best gig ever.
All the Oblivians were in attendance. Jared and Kate were there.
Teledildonics opened up. the new drummer is this girl who looks like Scarlet Johannsen's hotter younger sister.
I also befriended a guy who taped the show.. Turns out this guy works with Scott and hangs out new mary jane some.. he said they were on hiatus for the summer...
I heard many tales of the Oblivians show. The most recurring one was that peggy from the Gories threw several tantrums not unlike a small child and actually had to be ejected from the club on Friday night.. Also on friday night, the show didn't start til 11:30 because the Gories were just hanging out at Scott bomar's place.. shitty, considering it was apparently theee hottest, most crowded show of the summer.. every single person I talked to said it was the hottest show they'd ever been to. BUT that the Oblivians rocked it real good. Saturday night Mr Quintron joined them onstage.. I heard that buttloads of money were raked in. Butt loads.

How much money can they actually fit up their ass?
Thanks for the report. Sounds like a good time.

Now I know why Matt is filled with such self-loathing. Reading my old posts was quite painful.

I'm taking the day off from work. Still sicky.
Watching the Today Show for some reason. They're showing recipes for jars of marinara sauce. How to make salsa from a jar of marinara?! Why not just buy a jar of salsa?!

goddamnit, i hate that i missed that show! i went to a father's day dinner at my dad's house and they have all these cats and i went into this spaz-out wheezing fit that didn't go away for hours. so, i figured the bucc wouldn't be the best place for me at that point. oy.
glad the show went well though
