Mama went back to Romania yesterday.

And today, I go to St. Paul for a company driver training course. They have this asinine system that docks you points for various incidents. I have one "incident" where I tapped the bumper of the guy ahead of me when he slammed on his breaks. It left partial imprints from the two screws that hold on my front plate. But, the kid was in his dad's car and felt compelled to have my insurance fix those two tiny marks, so I got docked for a "rear end collision" same as if I'd destroyed his entire back end. Then, a few months ago, I was in a park district parking lot and rounded a corner and bumped into a big ass rock that was in the middle of the lot for some damned reason. That one got written up as a "collision with a stationary object," same as if I'd veered off the road and totalled my car against a tree.

So I have to take driver training. It's only one day, but I hate leaving M_______ alone right after mom leaves while she's still fighting the postpartum.

ugh... that blows.   sorry, bro.

Kinda the same with J_________ ,  her lawyer has her doing all this alcohol dependency therapy, which is just silly.   She's a couple of glasses a wine a week person.   And she's being quizzed about how many times a week she wakes up with the shakes.
