4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days is one hell of a good movie; the kind of movie that renews my love of film!  It puts all the commercial crap to shame.  Watch the extras: there's an interview with the director.  The guy is extremely smart and articulate, and he really knows his shit.

If I didn't have an infant at home, I'd drive around French-kissing every sneezing Mexican I see.

I fucking hate the restaurant show. And it's going to be pathetic this year. Free tsotchkes? Doubt it. Food samples? Greatly diminished, I'm sure. Cool multimedia booths? Maybe some PowerPoints and posters. It's going to be sad.
