Speaking of Predator, here's a thing on Jean-Claude Van Damme's aborted performance as the titular monster:

I'm just sitting here on a teleconference waiting to get my ass chewed out. I'm not having a good month at work.

That's pretty much exactly where I'm at. I just don't give a shit about soap; I'd rather be with my kid. If M______ was still working and the economy wasn't shit, I'd consider a career change, but it's just not in the cards for now.

Ok, there's a crank in a music gear-head bulletin board that I frequent that believes in all the Alex Jones tinfoil hat horseshit and more.  In fact, if it's hokum, he believes in it.  I don't wanna spend much time debating this idiot, as I have better things to do (like posting here).  Do you guys have a link, or something on youtube, that mocks this type of bullshit?  Something that really stings?  Something mean spirited but funny.  Matt, I is looking at you.

oh that was a weird little lattice... even if just in my head.

I saw a Terminator ad'ed bus pass yesterday and started thinking about how Terminator and Predator seemed like roughly the same movie when they came out.    Muscley dudes, violence, seemingly indestructable monsters with magic powers, etc.

But after half a lifetime of reflection, I feel comfortable saying that Terminator rules and Predator sucks it.

In other news, I watched Traitor last night.

1.    Clunky ass script.   (its always a bad sign when you imagine what the dialogue would look like on paper as the actors are speaking them)

2.    Don Cheadle is fun to watch.

3.    A plot hole at the end so wide, that I refuse to believe that they "missed" it.     They must've just decided to cross their fingers and hope that the satisfying final explosion would make you forget roughly about an hour of plotting that came before it.

I mean... wow.
