Dave's wife did seem to fancy Bobby.  and actually she really reminded me of Bobby's wife, Virginia. possibly from the same DNA strand..

Splitting off into a girl party and a boy party seems antithetical to pleasure.

it probably saved me from making an ass out of myself.

yeah.. the end of the evening was only slightly marred by David's wife yelling at him but it was kinda funny..

what killed me was the dude who came back to the house with us and wanted to play guitar all night. and THEN crashed on the sofa where I was gonna crash.. thanks a lot faux-hawk..!

oof. no shit. sometimes i don't know how to be the asshole that says "time to go home, dude." i think the fact that he seemed genuinely thrilled to be in that situation, for whatever reason, kept me from doing it.  but yeah.  that got kind of annoying quick.  i also can't find my pipe and am wondering if that's why he bolted so soon the next morning.

I watched Punisher: War Zone last night.

It's bad.  My expectations were modest, but it was bad.

The dramatic scenes were on the level of a tv movie or worse.  Bad direction.  The actors barely seem involved in the scenes.

The action is ok, but distinguishes itself by being excessively gory.  That is all.

speaking of faux-hawk... he's always playing little gigs at this place called the break out at the beach.  and always telling me i need to come see him. the fact that i never have has always kinda bothered my conscience a bit.  not anymore.  his songs sound like a really bad cross between alkaline trio and jack johnson or something. almost unbearable. i will continue to use the "man, the beach is too far...i don't wanna have to drive home drunk" excuse.

I remember last year when Stan & Bama hogged that king size all to themselves.

i offered each and every one of you the space in the middle of the bed between us and you all declined...still a little hurt by that.

I remember no such offer, Bama. But I wouldve accepted if you'd been the "meat" between me and Stan.
