(thanks y'all!   we had a blast!)  the dudes just left for memphis about an hour ago.  lotsa funn.   i don't know how tripp found time to crappity yesterday,  but the tuna and grouper cheeks were pretty damn good.  dragoon gave us at least 2 hours of face-melting rock.  great success.

i think they recorded the entire show (audio),  so hopefully tripp will post some of that stuff.  my little brother filmed alot too, but lost his battery about halfway through the second set. tripp was playing sleuth photographer all weekend too.  pretty sure there's some hot grouper cheek action...

just got back a little while ago.  we tried a different route home.. it was about the same time/distance as going down 55..

pretty beat.. and stuffed.. Pat fed us like kings this weekend.  SERIOUSLY.. probably the best seafood dinner I've ever had. I know Stan and Bobby agree..

too much fun to go on about right now.. just popped open a beer and gonna have some shrimp and watch the Galactica finale..  I'm off tomorrow. WOO HOO!!

Pretty rushed crazy day for me (for dad's 75th party in the hometown), lots of other things swirling, too. Oh, and my baby sister and her dude are officially engaged...after 17 years and 2 kids together. (This is Mitchell and Joey's mom.) If they do a big, proper wedding after all this I might have to barf. Though she has the "proper" engagement ring and all now, so it's probably going to go that way. Bah. Just go to the JP for gawd sake and have a big party after (at which I can get drunk). Is that too little to ask?

Not sure I get why they want to "bother" after all this time, but after going through Mitchell's illness (not to mention Will's addiction from a few years back) and making it through the other side, I don't begrudge them this, really. I just don't want her to make me have to wear a stupid bridesmaid dress. So, as usual, just thinking of myself.
