I've done side by side comparisons of LP and CD. The difference can be striking.

i hope cd's die a slow death.  i agree with moetown.  the absolute best format is the lp that comes with a free mp3 download.  if for no other reason, i will hang on to my records (and continue to buy new ones) so that i'm not totally fucked when my computer/ipod crashes.  which is inevitable.

They did, at least, find out they were getting canned in time to write a series conclusion, which is nice.
