But why?

also, the movie had a genuine Blade Runner feel to it.  Mainly due to some Vangelis sounding soundtrack music.
Which wasn't a bad thing.

it's pretty cheesy but  it does make the movie feel alien and unique .

But no, I don't care for Vangelis.

I've heard more compelling music out of Simon's mobile-and even those lullabies don't make me as sleepy.

I liked it plenty, so did my huge-blue-dong-loving girl.     But I never read it, so I had no idea what I was walking into.

I like the first hour the best, the conclusion dragged a lil for me.

And btw, sheesh, they ripped off a bunch of stuff from The Incredibles!!

Problems:
1.    On Dr. Manhattan had actual powers, right?    How come everyone was able to be thrown full-speed into blocks of cement and marble and get up with barely a scratch?   Everyone appeared to have superstrength.

2.    Using "All along the Watchtower" for the final showdown.    They were doing some nice era-appropriate music up til then.   (especially the Tears for Fears muzak in Veidt's lobby)
a lot of the music references come from the comic.

issue #10 was titled  "TWO RIDERS WERE APPROACHING" and throughout that issue you kinda had these images that were drawing that parallel.  that issue ends with Rorschach and Nite-Owl approaching the arctic base.

But you're right. In the  movie it just kinda comes out of left field.

I don't think Simon and Garfunkel was in the comic though..
