"The chief problem about death, incidentally, is the fear that there may be no afterlife -- a depressing thought, particularly for those who have bothered to shave. Also, there is the fear that there is an afterlife but no one will know where it\'s being held."

I used to HATE Daschle's responses.  I'm very glad there's someone even worse.

well someone's been rewriting the Grifters Wiki page .. not a big deal but what the eff? Anyone can just go delete what was there and put in their own revision?? I kinda thought that you could only add to a page...

I noticed that the other day while I was creating a page for The Strapping Fieldhands. The last I worked on the Grifters page was back in the Summer of 2007 (I think I added almost the entire discography, the  Hot Monkey page and an attempted reworking of the disastrous TBS page that some Joan as Polce Woman friend set up).

The user "Anani mas" added this: "The Grifters' albums and cover artwork expressed a concern with a highly subjective, gritty (and arguably heroine-drenched) personal experiential viewpoint and overflowing with a wide array of likeminded musical influences not yet totally digested, out of which The Velvet Underground emerges somewhat predominantly."

In their notes for the addition he wrote "No meat on the band's style - fixed."

The other fixations of this editor are Shaolin Kung Fu, the Internal Revenue Service and Meihua Quan kung fu.

Hey, "Instead of monitoring volcanoes, what Congress should be monitoring is the eruption of spending in Washington, D.C." is a pretty good line.
