Fuuuuuck!!! Someone smashed my window and stole the hook-up for my satelllite radio. I always hide the radio to prevent such things from happening, but it didn't stop them from smashing my window overnight. What a drag. Now I'm gonna have to get the window replaced - and I'll have to deal with regular radio til I can get a new hook-up.  |

that sucks! Someone did the exact same thing to me about a year ago. It won't fix your window, but if you call Sirrius and try to cancel your service, they'll send you a free radio

I saw the reviews on TV on the Radio's SNL performance and now I'm not feeling so bad about missing it. They're not bad, but I never end up liking them as much as I am assured I should.
So who watched the Drive-By Truckers on ACL? I missed that, too.

The auto glass place I called is gonna come to my house to repair it.

I thought if the radio wasn't there, that no one would mess with my car. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I wonder how expensive it'd be to install a camera somewhere to monitor what goes on on the street in frontof my house. I could just rewind the film and find out who broke into my car.

This makes up for the Saturday I had to work.
I don't have to deal with students today.
I can have an early afternoon nap.
I can go out for a nice lunch.

It looks like you can get a camera for as little as $40, with good ones that do infrared LEDs in the $150 range showing up easily at Radio Shack. For most of the cheaper ones, you also need a PC with a capture card or maybe a DVR or VCR to hook to it to grab the footage.
