i would guess april would work better for me, BUT....there are current happenings at the museum that may affect my planning.  the crazy bitch new director that gave me no option but to resign, and then told me not to worry about working through my resignation timeline??  well, she just got fired!!! so i've been doing some volunteer work for the museum to help them in transition until a new director is hired.  and there are rumblings that they (the board of directors) may ask me to come back full time.  which would be great.  fingers crossed, but if i do end up returning, my travel availability will definitely be limited.  right now, i can pretty much take off any time i want from the ole restaurant..  but for now, put me down as april.

I haven't heard from Trey for over a month but the last few times we talked it seemed as though they weren't going to do it..

but now it looks like we have 4 bands.. So....

I actually had a few friends that I ran into at the Antenna Reunion that were inquiring about getting onto a dragoon bill soon..  I left things in the air..

I'm thinking that we can get the pensy bands to go first. Pat said they have shortish sets..  but maybe we can start around 9 or even earlier..

I'm worried we're gonna start partying saturday afternoon and be too fucked to play that night..

we talked about Crappitystock at length at practice tonight..  here's the agenda I'm thinking..

Friday...

everybody gets to town and gets set up wherever they're staying then we meet around 7.... 7:30 at a bar and have some beers and do some karaoke..

Around 9 or 10  we'll go to the Dragoon space and party there all night. That is definitely the way to experience Dragoon I think.. at our space.. and we can all jam and shit..

then people go back to their abodes and wake up hungover the next day..

Saturday around noon or so  everyone meets up at our house and we have the macaroni showdown.. Though Bobby is hoping it basically turns into a Pat Jennings cookout..   we can hang here all day and have shrimp and listen to tunes and  hopefully not get too drunk..

then we can either all go to the Buccaneer around six or people can go to their respective hang-outs and prepare for the evening..

Dragoon will go to the Buc around 6 and start setting up and everyone else can either go with or get there around 7..

We have 4 bands so I'd like to get the show rolling around 8:30.. Each band gets about an hour.. So HOME (*who I am hoping will want to headline) will get onstage around 11 or 11:30.. 

Since everyone will have gotten the ultimate Dragoon experience on friday night we'll do a set that's half new stuff and maybe half grifteroke and another half of goofy, I mean fantastic,  covers..  After Home slays everyone we can either wrap it up and go back to the Dragoon's Lair or we can devolve into more jamming at the Buc..

After that.. I dunno..

I don't even think Sad Like Crazy is a going concern. Trey's mostly playing with The Gary now.
