Just had to get that off my chest.
How is y'all?
At A______'s urging we had the best MLK day ever. I totally never know what to do except watch a speech or two on PBS. But A_______ had us working all day.
He made a bunch of decorations for the house with famous quotes, then we looked up MLKs favorite foods. We made southern fried chicken, pickled okra and bacon, and pecan pie. ALL FROM SCRATCH!
Good god it was yummy. And we ran 3 of his big speeches over the stereo while we ate. Most of it went over his head, but he caught a few key phrases and asked about them, so we got into some really nice discussions about just vs. unjust laws and when war is "good".
s'fun.

We have sunshiny cold here. I'd really like to see some snow. I'd really like to see a blizzard and have this town shut down for about a week. Ft. Worthless is just about due for a huge snowstorm.
