I dig the "hybrid" idea, too: Gig at the Buccaneer (or wherever) and after-party at the practice space. I think you should mos def check in with Eric on possible dates first, though, to see if he can arrange a Jimmy gig (or somethin').
Not sure I dig the idea of April, though. My 45th b-day is April 25 (a Saturday), and much as I'd love to spend it with y'all, I know my people back home are really gonna want to do something for/with me cuz it's a pseudo big birthday and I was hoping to throw the first deck party of the season (to which y'all are invited!). Which leaves open all other April weekends (or I can have my party a week early, or week later)...except Pogo! said he'd come up for my b-day, too, and I know he wouldn't be able to manage two trips in one month, so he'd be out for crappitystock...
Just a (selfish) thought.
