Pitchfork's The 20 Worst Album Covers of 2008. Worth it if only for the one liner about My Morning Jacket's Evil Urges that made for this topic name:

Now I'm seriously rethinking our album cover art.

just watched the new trailer for Terminator Salvation.  I think it looks pretty cool despite the McG factor.

Hopefully this movie will address the central conundrum of all the  Terminator movies..  THE TIME MACHINE..

They never talk about that.

I'll bet Pitchfork's top 20 BEST album covers of 2008 will look exactly like their worst list.

yeah see. Like all art IT'S SUBJECTIVE!!  If Pitchfork wants to review what albums were really good in 08 then fine but they're not art critics. Some of the album art they ragged on I thought was just fine.

It was really more an exercise in snark. I actually like the Deerhunter and Santogold covers.

knnch!

Exactamundo. I don't read their music reviews at all these days. I click over there sometimes when music blogs I like point out an interesting feature, but that's about it. Even when they aren't pissing on records I like, they're praising them in ways I find inscrutable and masturbatory.

Pitchfork has missed their calling.  They're better suited just to review the album art.

Did you know Jonathan Nolan worked on the script?

They probably know more about art than they do music.
