so quick guy advice time: i've been out with hot architect 4 times in the past week and he's great. so so sweet, very attentive, obviously very interested, blah blah blah. BUT, he's, like, super nervous all the time when we're together. i don't know if he's just shy or what. but anyway, i end up having to carry the conversation all the time 'cause he's not talking, and i can tell that he WANTS to say something but doesn't know what to say. it's really aggravating 'cause he's SUPER cute and a great catch, but i'm getting bored trying to drag any kind of interesting back-and-forth conversation out of him. what should i do?? should i mention the quietness or just wait it out and keep talking to fill his silence and hope that it gets better? seriously...getting bored over here, but i don't want to bail yet.

have you tried shutting up and smoking him out?  that should level the playing field a bit.  Kiss

you should buy a pit bull and train him to kill on command just in case he turns out to be a rabbit boiler.  i read "the fountainhead" and i know what i'm stalking about.

speaking of bananas and recent releases...i think it's time to wipe up my keyboard.

i think i just spent more time re-reading this post and laughing than i did scanning the entire day's worth of posts.

(d'accord!)

i'd like to take a moment to thank savannah's mother for that last joke.

thanks.

I thought smelled comedy nepotism at work here...

Stop talking and see what happens.  Maybe he's nervous...and maybe he's a bore.

My mom was already married to my dad before she tried this trick and discovered he never had anything to say.

Oh, and it turns out he wasn't so nice either.

maybe he likes being quiet. Whatever you do, don't point it out to him. Then he'll fall into the 'what should I talk about' quagmire.

In moments like that i usually go for the conversation that begins "oh my God, look at those freaks over there..."

Also, getting really hammered works.

Also, ask him if he's ever murdered anyone. You should get that one out of the way anyway.

Yeah, I see those all over town these days.  They're for a sexual abuse/violence against children awareness campaign. Personally, I find that one a bit disturbing, but I guess that's the point of it...
