"The chief problem about death, incidentally, is the fear that there may be no afterlife -- a depressing thought, particularly for those who have bothered to shave. Also, there is the fear that there is an afterlife but no one will know where it\'s being held."

Today the printers listened to the Darkness. Again. really sick of that one. THEN they listened to JET, who, I'm sorry, suck.
One song sounded like they were ripping off Chris Bell. Though they probably thought they were ripping off Teenage Fanclub.

I got word from Timmy P that none other than Elvis Costello attended a backyard BBQ at his house just recently. It's very rare that Tim writes just to rub something in but hey....it merits it.

Second season of the OFFICE is now out on DVD.

God save the Clean!  If the rapture comes, I'm sure the Clean will be taken away!

I want a bumper sticker that says
"If your car becomes unmanned due to rapture
I'm going to go to your house and rape your pets"

too harsh?

i just remembered something about right before i went to bed last night.

My mind was racing like crazy. Thinking thinking thinking and all of sudden the benny hill theme music popped in to my head and took over my scrambled thoughts.

It was quite entertaining.

I am going to applaud the shit out of you for that one, Tripp.

Random hostility towards xians always plays well in Dirty Old Town.

Exactly!!! But it wasn't dreams...they were just thoughts in my mind and all of sudden they all just all lined up and would go in and out or behind a little changing tent on the beach...come out, spin around.

Still filling up that ftp, yo:

Just added the infamously awful/genius Replacements show from CBGB's 12-9-1984, in which they drunkenly play about 48 songs, almost entirely covers of AM radio songs and tv themes.

Also put up the outtakes from Let It Be and am working on a boot from the Pleased to Meet Me sessions.

Thanks Jeff, I got ftp now!

My dreams often involve images of me chasing scantilly clad women around to the sound of the Benny Hill theme.
