Really, really great!  His band is outasight!  We had great seats right on the floor, maybe 30 feet from the stage?  This being the Ryman, the "seats" were more like church pews; ours were separated by a wooden abutment about 3 inches high.  We moved for the second set so we could totally make out.  Plus, Kimmy has a great knack for finding bad ass hotels.  We stayed at this one. 

Also, it's hard to find tacos at 11pm on a Monday night in Nashville.

I found a used copy of Dungen's "Ta Det Lugnt" record yesterday.  Blasted it at home today and, woa, that's some good shit!  It's totally retro, but it doesn't sound dated or derivative.  Dunno why... Maybe because it's sung in Swedish.  I think you guys that like psych rock would love this (if you don't have it already).

that's a good one.  i love that record.  dungen was playing in san francisco the day after we left.  twas a bummer to have to miss that.
