Beck Hanson?

Yeah, he's totally lost it.

I heard "Where It's At" the other day...now that's a cool song.  I just shook my head.  What the hell happened to him?

Scientology.

Nah, he's been a member of that crackpot cult for most of his life.  It's probably a combination of too many people kissing his ass, and not enough brains to deal with it.

I think this is pretty much just for BF, in case he checks in.    Everyone else follows F1, right?

I think only BF and I do...

I know nothing about NASCAR, but I'll take your friend's word for it.

Brrrrr. Mighty cold 'round these parts today. Currently 35F (23F with motherfucking windchill). That's 2C and -5C with windchill for the Canadians. Speaking of, are the Montrealers faring alright? I know Ottawa had a snow watch warning or some such (we had a flurry or two this morn, though not enough to stay on the ground or anything), so I reckon Montreal was also yuck. Brrrrr.

Strangely, supposed to go to a nice toasty 57F (14C) for the kiddies for their Halloween festivities. Mother Nature's sometimes a swell, thoughtful gal.

Me too.  I'm blaming the change in seasons. Fricking sun is going down at 5 these days.

(oh and also soul-crushing depression)

More evidence of a turning tide: my Jesus-lovin' conservative dad said, "Obama talks about keeping companies from sending jobs overseas. That's me. That's my job and my friends' jobs he's talking about." He still won't say that's enough to make him vote for Obama. But I don't think he's even considered a Democrat since LBJ.
