What?  It was a dream!  In my dreams, I'm naked all the time.

You know how you probably saw the trailer for The Rocker and thought, "Gee, I like Rainn Wilson and the rest of the cast looks pretty good, but I still think maybe I should skip this one"?

You were right.

got my dr. results - not anemic, no high cholesterol, but could have

celiac / ciliac 's disease

and my white blood cell count is high which means infection or cancer or something, my dr. said.  will find oot the other results from tests to see if it is any of those above mentioned things hopefully on monday.

I think they tell you the worst possibilities so it's a relief when it turns out to be a lesser illness. I'm sticking to that. I hope you feel better, Kim, and good luck on Monday. Many many PMAs.

ive come to find oot i have more platonic guy friends than girl friends?!  i must be dude like.  guess it comes from having 2 brothers and 2 sons.  or i talk like a sailor

I was the exact same way when I lived in Ottawa (or my hometown before that, for that matter). In Ottawa, I had 2 or 3 girlfriends and about a bazillion guy friends. Then when I moved to Toronto, I met Josey (then boss, now friend) who's one of those chicks who over the years cultivated many deep and lasting friendships with women, and now many of those women are my friends too, and we hang out independent of Josey. I still have plenty of guy friends here, too, but for the first time in my life, I have a base of truly supportive women in my life, and it feels awesome. AND I can talk like a sailor with 'em, too. I always credit Josey for this happy change of perspective...

SO WHAT IS THANKSGIVING LIKE IN CANADA?  DO YOU EAT LIKE PIGS LIKE WE Do ON OUR THANKSGIVING?

Oh good lord, yes. It's an earlier event here because of earlier harvest (though not sure how much earlier the harvest is in southern Ontario than say, northern Illinois or Michigan or any of the border states for that matter, but there ya have it). My family does the traditional turkey, cran, potatoes, etc, but we also throw two lasagnas in there (a veg one and a meat one) and this Italian pea/mushroom/onion saute thing that an Italian aunt introduced to us years ago and which has graced all the holiday tables ever since. (My mom's side is not Italian, but this in keeping with Xmas/New Year's/Easter at the Italian grandma's, having pasta on the table as well as the turkey.) T-giving means little to me. I'm only going tomorrow because of the mom/nephew birthday thing beforehand.

still havent heard from the dr., they are awaiting 5 tests, arrgh,  im calling tommorow morning cuz i puked all weekend except friday...i think i have an extremely infected ulcer.  that is what im hoping.  and i hope i dont have celiacs - no wheat or gluten, oh well not gonna speculate

didnt make silver jews cause i was either puking or in the restroom and had a bad migraine.

NEED GOOD VIBES I HAVE AN INTERVIEW AT THE METRO IN CHICAGO AT 230PM ON WEDNESDAY...hopefully the 2nd time is the charm interviewing, my contacts sent some great references which i am extremely  happy and thankful for.

yep your thanksgiving sounds like ours too, i hope it was special.

wont be on here tommorow or wed. but will tell you aboot the interview and the dreaded tests.  i am convinced now that something is wrong with my stomach cuz the pain meds dont even work

tommorow i have a bunch of errands and will not be near a puter

take care and best to you all, hope your week is good

kim
