As part of my revived AC/DC fascination,

Did it ever abate?

I think I might've waited too long long to have kids.

Unfortunately genes have memories (what is it? epigenetics?)...Years of body abuse weakens the seed or egg.  It's true.

Gay Hankies would be a good band name.

You know, when an idea is very appealing because it pleases some part of me, that's when I reach for my revolver...

I agree.

Like you have revolvers anyway, you pinkos.  not talking to you

Down south we just use them for dance-hall stand-offs.

oh yeah, the show.

it was kinda weird playing someplace with a stage with a drum riser on the stage with monitors and pink lights and blue lights. I think it threw us a little. I've never been so far away from Bobby onstage before.  I really missed him. sniff.

the opening band flaked and as a result only two members showed up. they played on the dance floor and insisted on not being miked. There's a funny picture on our myspace page of some redneck chick who got up onstage and dance while they performed quietly on the floor.

we went second and did pretty good I guess. I couldn't hear Bobby and he couldn't hear me but everyone said it was great sound. A bunch of our high school friends showed up to the gig which was fun. The milf quota was filled fer sure. I was happy to see that S_____ got one of them out on the dance floor along with a couple other vivacious ladies so for the first time in a long time i got to see S____ and a gaggle o gals cutting up on the dance floor.  Thats what it;s all about folks.

Pezz were phenomenal. they rock............so hard. Ceylon has become an incredible drummer.  Unbeknownst to me pezz actually did a couple of trusty songs in their impromptu soundcheck. Bobby was beside himself to say the least.

A really good night overall. we had a decent crowd. better than I expected considering we went up against gonerfest.  FBP didn't make it.  I guess Chad was the only Crappiteer there.  Oh yeah, since Bobby came to the show straight from a wedding in a suit we decided we'd all wear suits so we looked real nice.

Yeah, and then me and my old lady shoot them bears and then we get all hot and bothered and we just have to have a go at the old "shake that bear, shake it"...

For anyone who hasn't seen Shake That Bear, I provide you with this recreation, which gives the idea but is much less upsetting:

don't know if i've shared this before, but i've met brian many times.  when i lived in sarasota, i worked at a deli/convenience store on st. armands key, about a mile from brian's house on nearby bird key.  when not on tour (this was during the ballbreaker era)  he woulds stop in a couple times a week.  i actually sold him an ENTIRE BOX of zig-zag papers the night before they went on tour.  he said the band was at his house partying.  he also bought several bottles of mr. and mrs. T's bloody mary mix.    actually a very nice guy, always had time to chitchat.  let me indulge him with my "brian johnson" several times, and even complemented it.   breakin2

somehow i picture brian walking in with that hat on and that jacket like in the "shook me all night long video"

man i can't tell the difference in his voice from back in black through thunderstruck...
