He just did this to get the ball into his court after polls showed Americans overwhelmingly blamed the GOP for the current financial crisis. Having nothing to say, he could seem to take charge simply by announcing it was time for the campaigns to clam up. They'll start up again but only after McCain says so, making him look authoritarian. Obama's alternative is to seem like an insensitive prick.

Still haven't had a chance to watch. Nor to listen to Alan's CD (that's right, dude, got it, love the "packaging"...just been slammed in good and bad ways, but hope to check it soon).

JeffRoomie still (willfully) unemployed, but has been fixing up the Mercedes to sell so I guess the unemployment insurance is running out. Who's in?
