Slo'Reilly Factor

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/EfuEYMlMSuU" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/EfuEYMlMSuU</a>

My father was trying to remember O'Reilly's sparring mate (in the video)s' given name the other night and he referred to him as "Revolvo" ...and I proceeded to almost choke on my tongue laughing.

ha!

Ok, so the Palin interview on ol' Charles Gibson's show... not only did she say "Charlie" evey 3 seconds, she also said nuc-u-lar, like Bush.    loser

An artist friend of mine is selling his gi-normous former farm-house in Kincardine Ontario -- on "Great" Lake Huron -- and moving back to Toronto.

I KNOW, hideous, isn't it? (I particularly hate the airiness, the clawfoot bathtub, the outdoor space, the attic room they use for guests, and the widow's walk. Ok, truth is, I've missed all 5 past Halloween parties, because it was always about couples, so never been. Now I'm regretting that I didn't just go anyway. Big time. The place ees gorgeous.)

My roomate is also selling the '69 Mercedes (just repaired!), if anyone's in a buying mood.

OMG, my sister just sent me this pic of Mitchell's first day of school. Cuuuuute. Like I said before, this is quite a victory, given the circumstances. (Also, it's his 5th birthday tomorrow.)

Its barely rained at all here, I think its going to pass through here this afternoon. The coast did take a pretty nice punch though

Good to hear from Texas!

Yeah, weather looks bad though for some areas.

We are pretty flooded here. Our house is okay because it's at a slightly higher elevation and in a neighborhood with a lot of green areas to soak up the water. But nearby, various major and minor roads are closed and most of the ponds and lakes near us (we're adjacent to two golf courses and the county forest preserve, and many of the comnnunities here have small ponds, too, so there are a ton  of 'em) are heavily overloaded and starting to spill onto nearby streets.

Rivers are getting high here, but the rain eased off today.

Somehow the Indians got in a double header today and I went up for the first game...because someone I work with gave me field level tickets behind visitors dugout back in May or June and those rained out.  So I got in on rain checks.

2 hour rain delay, not many people there, but they played today and lost.  Halfway through the game the announced free tickets for the night game for everyone in attendance.  I declined, but later realized I should've at least gotten in line for the ticket, because there was a giveaway for a bobble head.

Hilarious.

C________ had a vox box recorder with the 2 tape speeds.  We'd record a conversation, listen to it backwards, and die laughing no matter how boring the conversation was.

No matter what you talk about it's hysterically funny.

Try it yourselves.

According to this interactive map , between the ages of 25-49, there are 17 more single women than men per 1000 people in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dallas: 14 more men, per woman. Awesome. So I just have to get Pogo! to "sponsor" me and I'm set.

Remember when I talked most of crappity into changing their names into posterior-modern novelists puns?

Elizzzabeth (I think?) was David Foster Walled Ass.  Or maybe it was Evan?
Caw was Thomas Pinch One.
Somebody was Kurt Vomitgut.
I think Tripp was Philip K. Dick.
I was John Barf.  I probably should've been Donald Barf On Me.

There were more that I can't think of.

Someone should've been William H. Ass.
