And yep, I thought Hillary did pretty damn good.    She did what she was supposed to do, gave a good speech and plugged Obama at each pinnacle.   

Nope, Hillary was never too terribly hott, but good god I want lay Chelsea down in the tall grass and have her let me do my stuff.    J________ and I were both drooling, and we both decided that if either of us ever got the opportunity, we'd get a pass to go ahead and sample those vernal juices.

So, last night I went for a 30 minute run.    The first time I intentionally exercised since.. well... since ever.     8th Grade gym class doesn't really count, since I had to.

It wasn't so bad.   I blasted Beach Boys HOLLAND and it was kinda fun.    Hopefully I can get hooked on it.   After gasping and sweating for an hour, I actually felt pretty pumped for the rest of the evening.

oh yeah.. I never gave  a show review.

we had to go to Navin's birthday party first which was PACKED!  I gave Nave all the recent Cap comics, last 12 issues or so. He's into the Cap.
Noyel is playing drums now and his band was kinda rehearsing/performing at the party. They show a lot of promise.

Me and Bobby split after 9 and went to my place and shrimped up. I was already a little drunk. it was good we stopped back at my house where there was no beer. I had about an hour and a half break form the beer. But man.. the shrimp.

So we got to the Buc real nice and toasty. Grunt was setting up. guitarist and bassist had huge effects racks and Grant had a pretty wild set-up. It's a techno kinda set-up but he doesn't rely on samples. He's playing his equipment and they said it's never the same way twice. So, kind of a very organic, analog approach to using digital equipment.
They did a really weird cover of Black Fuel wherein they did sample my opening bass shots from the Crappin' version. Then they built a song around that. In the midst of it they threw in a sort of inverted version of the bridge bass riff.  Grunt did not fail to entertain.

People did manage to get pretty blotto. Myself included. We got a case of beer and kept in the van. People in the bar had just broken down and were drinking the high-end beer (if I didn't mention it the Buc had their beer license revoked for a month). And there was quite a rowdy bachelor party going on when we got there. They were absolutely smashed.

So by the time we played (1am?) everyone was pretty buzzed. We played a good loose set. Played all the hits. Did an extended version of Problemo and we did an improv version of Jammo with Grant which got weird as Stan can't really play with any kind of click track.

It was a fun night cause pretty much the entire Dragoon family was there. S_____, Kate, Karla, Dan Ball, Wendy, Margaret. ROY BERRY and his lady  Jessi, Mel, Leanne, and a bunch of other people you never heard of.

I got home at 4:20, DUDE!

Calling on crappity creativity.

C_______ is working on a project for work.  The art museum is doing an expo or a fair of like alternative or punk crafts...knitting, beadwork, sculpture, whatever.

She's looking for a title or a label to brand the show with.

For instance, we came up with Daft Craft, Boho Deco, Lo-fi Deco, anti-craft, anti-artisans, alt artisans, anarcho-craft, uh....

Anybody have any thoughts?
