i got job security but not in the good way....

my company has a parent company a construction company owned by the same family, the controller and my mentor and kind of indirect boss along with the CPA had a heart attack this morning and it does not look good...so im having to do two jobs, i feel really bad because i could tell she was stressed from work

i think my ex has finally paid me a little i should find out tommorow if it hits the bank....monday was prolly the worst day in a long time, i got written up which you already know about; then i went to take my oldest son to get his physical for football and he flunked his eye test and they said he has a heart murmur.  cant play cant practice.  we knew he had a heart murmur but the dr. always listens and says it's okay.....so he starts crying, i have no money because i just paid for book rental, supplies and cant take off work to take him to get cleared at the dr. and get glasses.  luckily my mom is a saint, and she took off work yesterday and got it all taken care of and he didnt miss practice.  mr. great dad wouldnt even answer the phone and would not respond to any requests to take him to the doctor.  still going to court over custody issues and his non payment games, threats of violence etc.

sorry i just typed that but i had to get it off my chest......now everything is swell and i have 3 weeks of shows to keep me busy;

Argh. Super frustrating! Sending PMAs your way.

Speaking of babies... my niece who was born last week? I wasn't paying attention till my bro mentioned it, but... her birth date is 08/08/08 (lucky Chinese number, so I've learned -- thanks Olympics! Wink ), and she was 8 pounds even, and is the 8th grandchild on either side of that family. Weird, eh?

Can't wait for her to be old enough to buy lottery tickets!  Cheesy

We're still being outbred

Coincidentally had just ordered Idiocracy the other day from a Canuck version of Netflix and watched tonight. LOL. Sure it went straight to DVD (I think), but there was some comedy gold-slash-awesome cringing there.

Up next, The Wire, season 5 (which just got released here). Yay!
