These days, I enjoy looking my baby girl in the eye, and, in my best Darth Vader voice, go "Sophie, I am your father", which usually elicits a  Roll Eyes from my wife and a few giggles from the baby.

Never even heard of Sparks even though they've been around 35 years.

Here they are with "Wondergirl" and "Do Re Mi" from A Woofer in Tweeter's Clothing:

i was always in the minority amongst my friends at the time, some of whom SWORE by halo-benders (and dub narcotic), but i could only stand a couple of songs at a time before calvin johnson's redundant baritone got in the way.  which was always unfortunate because the music was usually super intriguing.

the only thing i ever really knew of sparks was all the funny album covers that would grace the pages of the many books of album cover art i've owned over the years.

Sparks' "Angst In My Pants" was a record I heard when I was about 12 or 13; fell in love with; then never could find again.  Until Stan made me a copy last year.  Thanks Stan!
