On Sunday, Jim Adkisson entered the Knoxville Unitarian Universalist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee and opened fire killing two people and injuring seven more who were watching a children's production of Annie. A report from the Knoxville News Sentinel states that when police entered Jim Adkisson's home they found books by Michael Savage, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly.
"Inside the house, officers found "Liberalism is a Mental Health Disorder" by radio talk show host Michael Savage, "Let Freedom Ring" by talk show host Sean Hannity, and "The O'Reilly Factor," by television talk show host Bill O'Reilly."

The new Paul Westerberg record is out. It's called "49:00." All of the songs on the record are combined into a single 49 minute long track which is for sale on Amazon for $0.49. haven't listened to it yet, but if it's like his last few, it's likely a fun bunch of half-baked home recorded things. That stuff ("Folker," "Come Feel Me Tremble," etc.) is nowhere near his peak, but it's sure a lot more fun than his post-Mats maybe-the-people-who-watch-VH1-will-buy-my-records-if-they're-treacly-and-shiny-enough phase. (I like some of the songs from that era a lot, but still...)
