Saw "Margot at the wedding" last night.  I recommend.   Very good characters.   Jack Black alllmost broke through his veneer.   Right at the very end, he had to fall into utter despair, which couldn't help but make me think of some of his comedic overblown stuff.   But up til then, I was convinced he was an actual human being.

Also saw Hellboy II.      Was pretty let down by it.    The visuals were absolutely stunning, but there was just none of the heart from the first one.

ah well, it bodes well visually for The Hobbit.

yeah, I bailed on seeing Hellboy 2 this weekend.  I figured I'd get all shrimped up for it but by the time I got shrimped enough I didn't feel like driving anywhere.

tripp, if you are ever hallucinating or drunk and start a crappity cartoon i want to be robins chick with the fire hair and a sword and power like joan describes in my song.  a crappity cartoon would be funny but ya have to make me look good....there is a comic artist in our local arts paper and he always looks more handsome than he does in real life
