we gave them a nice extended tour of the nyc subway system...aparenetly the weekend schedules are much different than the weekday ones...the best thing is that all our mistakes going back and forth didn't cost a dime more than our first fare.

Come have some cocktails on the roof of the Met with me.     They have some big fat Koons sculptures out!

What could be more fun than than??

oh.... right.

I think there'd be time for sex and sightseeing. Unless they're into the tantric marathon bar style.

Jon Spencer video directed by Weird Al.  Check out Al's cameo around the 1:15 mark.

just picked up AC/DC's "If you want blood you got it" on cd for 7 bucks at walmart. Haven't owned a copy since the old cassette version i got in 5th grade...It still rocks the world.

You gotta understand that that was my first introduction to bon scott...back in black came out when i was in 5th grade...had that...then heard dirty deeds...then i was turned on to If you want blood...freaking incredible...to me one of the best live albums ever...

the thing is that to hear the album versions of these songs was sort of a let down...bad boy boogie...let there be rock...the studio versions couldn't compare to the all out fury of the live stuff...and hell the jack had completly different lyrics...

and just that album cover...brilliant.

so yeah...i kind of like the album...i guess..

Anybody else read Boing Boing? It's a sort of ubernerd blog. I've read it for years, but I'm losing my patience with it. It's official tagline is "A Directory of Wonderful Things."

I think it should be "Turning the Stuff You Like into Faggoty, Faggoty Fetishes."

Muscle men in speedos, that's a faggoty fetish.  You mean "turning the stuff we like into geeky, geeky fetishes".
