Karadzic practised alternative medicine as he eluded police in Belgrade

Not all quacks are mass murderers, but some mass murderers are quacks.

So, about 40 blocks from my house my tyre went flat and I had to walk home.

So, stressed/depressed/miserable I felt like fuck, I don't know what. Went off the handle, though, complaining about my luck. Or lack thereof. All these little things...I do not need them considering the very big things I already have on my plate. I am like a Warner Brothers cartoon car teetering on a precipice ...a tiny feather spinning down from heaven to throw me over.

Then, following a quick succession of little miseries I had my first strong urge to drink ...like that old brutal urge to hammer back that burning poison that lights up the veins and mutes the nerves. That angry urge to get as fucked up as possible, to destroy myself until tomorrow. I have not felt that like that in more than two years and it kinda scared me.

Congrats on not succumbing to it. That's a very difficult thing to deal with.

Anyway,I have no idea what the company is promoting and I do not care so much as I like nothing more than seeing people laugh (really, I am that fruity).

It's promoting Skype, the ubiquitous online video chat/phone service. Skype is good stuff. My in-laws saw Matilda and me get married via a webcam and Skype.

And here's to not drinking. I've been laying off too, on account of it was making me wicked fat. Sad

Yeah, it takes a lot not to drink, so kudos, Matthew.

I didn't drink last night, and I have Pilates in a half hour, so prolly not tonight either. Yay! (But never say never.)

Pogo! and I have both downloaded Skype, but I've yet to buy a headset so's I don't have to be tied to the computer to talk.

I guess I can just talk to him in person... on Thursday night. Yay!

Also, the new Out of 5 is available for download or streaming. The theme was "Nerd Alert." I sent in "Hound Dog" by Automusik. Best part of that one: "They told you you were high class/They have lied to you."
