so i didn't go see wall-e this weekend (but i'm planning on it now) but i DID spend all day saturday lounging in a tube floating down the beautiful blackwater river drinking beer and eating shrimp. if you've never done such a thing, i highly recommend. it's like being royalty. you can't really ask for more than to be floatin down the river doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for 6 hours with a beer in your hand the entire time surrounded by nothing but pretty things. oh you pretty things.

oh hell yes. we used to do that on the Hillsborough river leaving out of Lettuce Park in Tampa. ahhhh.. you just brought back some happy day memories. |

nope. you put a case a beer in a cooler and put that cooler in a tube of it's own. or, you have a friend take a canoe and put the cooler in that. and you bring plenty of beer (and squirt guns full of whisk(e)y) |

we went and saw wall-e last night. oh my god, that was one of the sweetest movies i've ever seen. so so so well done. i was really not prepared for how good it was going to be. we couldn't stop talking about it all last night. 374725 stars out of 374725 stars. for you guys that have seen it: did you not just DIE when [spoiler]eve sees the security cam footage of wall-e watching over her while she was in sleep mode?? OMG i was crying like a baby. the sweetest thing ever.[/spoiler] loved it!  |
