Why do people want to have outdoor parties when it's this friggin' hot outside?

Yep.  Gee, next time I start a weekend thread, I'll make it clear that it's the weekend thread.  I know, I'll call it "the weekend thread"!  Roll Eyes

Uma Thurman's dad...

What do you think about when you meditate? Usually, some form of trying to excavate any kind of negative thing cycling in the mind and turn it toward the positive. For example, when I am annoyed with Dick Cheney, I meditate on how Dick Cheney was my mother in a previous life and nursed me at his breast.

You mean you fantasize about being breast-fed by Dick Cheney?
It’s a fantasy of releasing fear and developing affection. It’s a way of coming back to feeling grateful toward him and seeing his positive side, finding the mother in Dick Cheney.

Yep. But just because the grill guy is outside suffering doesn't necessarily mean everybody has to be out there suffering with him.

The shittiest part about working out is how you're supposed to gradually increase the intensity, which means more sets and more time. Right now, it takes about 1 1/2 hours to finish on my strength + cardio days. Last time I went through one of these kicks, I think at the end it was taking more than 2 hours to finish. I think that's what always ends up doing me in. Not the exercise, but the time. I really hate exercising because takes too long.

Plus, I wake up with every morning with pain in my knees and ankles.  Angry
