This has been a helly work week...and I work tomorrow.

My nerves are on edge and I need to bust out somehow.

M______ just called: pretty sure she is getting fired today.

Suckity sucky sucks.  Why is she getting fired?

M______ just got out of her meeting...

Let me just tell you that my wife is the coolest woman in the universe. Seriously.

Someone called in to the restaurant and knew damaging private information, someone who had met M______ and her assistant the day before at a shindig at a famous local place (but also knows other people who work there now or worked there recently). Because M______ is on the manager's shit list, he immediately assumed it was her who blabbed, then snooped through her company email looking for proof, finding a brief note about another job she had been offered. Then they told her to wait in the office while he called a meeting about what to do with her. And when they called her in there, this is what she said:

"You honestly think that while I am out there trying to sell to make a living, I would go out and tell people things that make our business look bad? While I am trying to get their money? Are you that fucking stupid? Do you think I'm that fucking stupid? And if you think my master plan is to use my connections to get a new job, do you think I would go to a networking event and tell people our internal business in such a way that no one in their right mind would ever hire me? Do I fucking look that fucking stupid? Do I? Are you that fucking stupid to think that makes sense for me?"

Then, when the manager said maybe she would say bad things because he suspects she doesn't like him, she said this:

"Don't like you? Dude, I fucking hate you. Fucking. Hate. You. You're okay as a person, but you are absolute shit as a manager. You're pissy, you roll your eyes at everything I say, nothing anyone does is good enough, you treat us all like shit, and you make this a miserable fucking place to work. But this is my job, okay. And maybe somebody offered me another job, but that's hardly the same thing as me looking for a different job, is it? Give me a piece of paper and I'll give it to you in writing that if I am ever going to leave, I will give you a month's notice and train my replacement. Because treating people like shit is your thing, not mine."

Then she closed by saying that she was there to do her job and if they were too fucking stupid to appreciate that and wanted to believe a bunch of bullshit instead, they could fire her right there.

And not only didn't the manager have the nerve, he had to look at his subordinates cheering M______ on and nodding their heads in agreement, then sit and listen to each of them as they took turns telling him what a piece of shit he was.

I don't know if things will really be better for her at her job next week, but they'll sure as hell be different.

And the fact that she'll even have a job is strictly due to her massive, enormous balls. (Metaphorically. She actually has a vagina.)
