NO! They're not delinquent at all, they're an entire class of normal kids that was randomly selected by "impartial lottery" to send a message about disrespect among youth.

But yeah, it's kick ass.

It sounds like it might be campy, but as insane as its premise is, it is a completely serious action film.

I guess about 3 or 4 years ago I read that book, and then several months later someone lent me the movie. One of those rare occurrences where both are really good.
