Speaking of censorship & bible-thumpers, John Ashcroft put the heat on a few weeklies to make Tony Millionaire change "cunt" to "vagina" in this week's Maakies, one of my favorite strips.

thanks, kurt.  i think "vagina" is finer for the poetic flow of the line, but "cunt" always brings down the house.

i can't believe none of us in here asked for a moment of silence today to remember the original MTV VJ J.J. Jackson.  he was the only black man they had on the air for the first couple of years, and damn was he smooth.
