Let It Bleed has some different wrinkles to it than on Dragoon Eve. A little mellower here. Quite good.
My fave is Is It My Body. Great Alice...with nice accompaniment by KGB.
Yer Blues comes off quite nice, Patrick. You're only being too hard on yourself because you're such a Beatles fan.

yeah. i think it would be near impossible to duplicate the mood on dragoon eve. kgb's little "ah" at the end of the second chorus of 'is is my body?' is the highlight of the whole song. and it's the timing on yer blues that sucks, not so much the voice. although that part's kinda rough too. i threw in a couple ad libs for you guys, too. the "so i was a planet when i was smaller now" is a bit of a ribbing of dave's live phrasing. i noticed on the "it's not french" cd, he has a tendency to add a "so" to the beginnings of lines, and a "now" at the end. and the "go nigel go" during it's all over now just kinda came out that way. it's not a mid 60's guitar solo without a little encouragement from the singer.

I love how Pat told us you probably wouldn't do any karaoke...and there you were rockin' the mic. Yay! I wanna hear it, though.

No worries. They automatically opened in iTunes, so I have no choice I'd be glad to.
