The Tech 21 pedal is what Shabadoo is selling on Ebay right now. It was too sensitive. The Rat is much easier to control.

Right.  And I thought regular rats were too thin for bass!  Have you ever thought about having it modded for more bottom end?  You can get it to sound tighter and fatter too.  I had mine modded by a guy named Robert Keeley.
