holy shit the new mudhoney record is smokin.  i went by sluggo's to drop off some posters and they had gotten in the big ole promo/press kit.  including a copy of the new record "the lucky ones" which comes out on tuesday, i think. so i brought it home to preview, put in the ipods.  it just keeps getting better as it plays and you kinda quit paying attention, THAT'S when you realize it's great.  cause it'll hook you. very impressed.  this is what that new stooges record shoulda sounded like dammit.

so who's all staying for the mudhoney show?

I haven't enjoyed a Mudhoney album since Tomorrow ...do you think I might like this one?

I can't even barely open these anymore. Stupid flood.

My sister and I chipped into buy the box set for my dad, who grew up watching the serials in the basement of his local church (there's a way to get children in the house of god).

The serials are quite hilarious.

Actually, much of the footage of the rocket guy was recycled to make this serial a few years later, which was then riffed on in early episodes of MST3K.

at this point, i think it's the best one since my brother the cow.   but i also kinda liked the last two.  definitely some choice songs/ moments.  very little filler, but a bit.
