hey that's not motley crue!

So after Capt and I had a conversation about 80's Kinks I downloaded Give the people what they want. That was one of the first cassettes I ever bought...probbably hadn't listened to it in at least 20 years, but i still rememebered like every song...and they still are great! 

And thanks bebop for the clay aiken compliment... Angry

Thats basically the conversation we were having.   I think we could all pretty easily agree that 60's Kinks rule the school.    I was just pointing out that there was a little 3 album corner of the early eighties that were pretty damn good.

Partcularly if you put it into context of how unbelievably badly most 60's bands were sucking in the 80's.
