comparing notes at band practice tonight we determines that the OC played an hour and 50 minutes. we also determined that most of the bar was calling for an end.

The confusing of Hamas and al-Qaeda's motivations was a classic obfuscation strategy (like his consistent "erroneous" suggestion that Iran is arming al-Qaeda). While extreme and occasionally violent, Hamas is a nationalist group which requires someone to aid in an diplomatic end (Christ, ISRAEL used to back them).
al-Qaeda is a very different creature and is attempting to ignite a massive conflagration which consumes the oppressive and un-Islamic regimes which govern most of the Arab world (the U.S. supports almost all of them except Iran, Syria and...well, Libya is in the gray ([http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0454684/]Shadows of a Leader: Qaddafi's Female Bodyguards[/url]). Uberhawks like McCain are very good at starting fires they can't seem to put out.
