So i started watching the Exorcist last night. Didn't start watching it until 10 and only got 45 mintues through it before my youngin started screaming so i took that as a  sign to turn it off.

For some reason my wife is freaked out by it. She won't watch it...said she saw it in High school and said just thinking about it will proabably bring her nightmares.

Funny, she has no problem watching the discovery health channel with siamese twins being cut apart...that's the type of shit that freaks me out.

(I should clarify...my youngin wasn't watching the movie with me and screaming...i wouldn't expose a 2 year old to a horror film. I'm not stupid.

No he was in crib playing with matches.)

I wish I could listen to Beggar's Banquet for the first time again.

Really, there are dozens of things I'd like to experience for the first time again. One of the sorry things about life is that you only have one chance to do anything for the first time. I think that sucks.

Yeah i cannot believe i've never seen it. I know about the whole bed shaking (that's where i turned it off) and the head turning and some pea soup vomit. But that's about it.

I just listened to Let it Bleed on the way to work. I used to love the hot rocks version of midnight rambler...but now i think the studio version kicks its ass.

It's funny some things you can experience again and again like a  movie, or a book, or and album and get it on a whole different level.

But some things, if you try to experience again don't work out. Like recently i rented the "Get a life" sitcom. Man when this first was on tv i thought it was hilarious. So when i watched it again...it sucked. I don't know if it really sucked or if i had just held in such high regard that it didn't fulfill what i had experienced when i first watched it. Then again i was 21 and probably watching them stoned...so i'm sure that had a big part of what was funny.

if that makes any sense...if not, maybe dylan said it best

"don't look back"

or was that Boston

man, we tried to watch Keep The River On The Right last night. The documentary about the 'modern cannibal'. Geez, that was rough. I couldn't tell if this guy was just a super-dedicated anthropologist or a freak who found the ultimate outlet for his fetishisms. Creepy, creepy stuff.

On the good side, I'm having a pineapple smoothie!!

stop it, you guys are making me hungry.

Bobby's crock pot pot roast last night was delicious, but now I don't feel so hot...  I think I ated too much roast.  Now I wish the monkey house didn't smell like pot roast (I cooked it over here so I could watch it and smell it cooking).

Where's Rosa O'Dan'l this mornin?

I need to give him some karma points for offering me that little tremelo pedal he no longer wants...  That pedal will come in quite handy for the Shabbadoo band-especially since the tremelo on Andrew's Twin Reverb seems to have stopped working.

Thanks again Surfer Dan!

Oh Tripp, I agreed to give Daniel a signed copy of Impatient in return.

By the way, the Shabbadoo band is rockin!
Only our second practice last night and we sound pretty F'in good.
Andrew got one of them cute little Radio Shack/Moog keyboards to add to the arsenal.  I'm so exited!

Man, I loves me those Radio Shack moogs.    Its so much easier to retrieve a sound that you like on those for some reason.   On my real moogs, I could set every dial and knob precisely as I had them before and I'll get an entirely different sound.

god bless the shack.

Jaysus, you don't need to tell everyone about that... Now I'm gonna have BF hitting me for a distortion pedal!

Let's make one thing clear right now: I am not a guitar pedal charity!

Should of seen them kicking Edgar Allan Poe

I used to think they were saying, "Should've seen the kick in Edgar Allan Poe."  I thought by "kick" they meant a twist ending.

"Ah! That damn letter was right in front of me the whole time!"

Ah, they don't know what the hell's going on at 2.  Now's the best time to watch R rated movies, Brainy.
