so last night I had to go to a show that I set up for my former STAFF bandmate Geoff @ the Hi-Tone.  They were opening up for LIMES who I recently got the pink slip from. It was really really really no hard feelings and I'm actually relieved to be set free but that don't make it any less awkward.  I noticed that Brandon wasn't playing with them last night either.  But yeah, typical memphis show. sparse crowd. Geoff's band, Sad Horse, were fun. It's just him and his girlfriend Elizabeth. Very energetic.
I have a slight hangover.

That was funny, but I can't help feeling a little bit insulted: being a good father doesn't require a suburban lifestyle!  Although, I do understand were that is coming from, I have met quite a lot of folks who think you can't have a baby without a steady job and a castle in the 'burbs.
