JG "Foetus" Thirwell is the band behind the the Venture Bros.

I wish I could find that awesome Zep parody he did for the show.

It's easier to assume everyone is lying all the time.

I plan to give Grateful Dead another shot at some point.

i don't think i would have ever given them a shot if i hadn't seen them live...and had head full of acid.

and from what i understand, when i saw them (1989-1990)...they were really gelling again...playing some smoking shows...then another keyboard player died and jerry was totally smacked outta his head...and things went downhill

Right now I am continuing to revisit Pink Floyd following many years away. I plan to give Grateful Dead another shot at some point.

i would start with anthem of the sun, wake of the flood and blues for allah.   at least those are the ones that i seem to remember really liking.  (i also seem to remember reckoning and bear's choice  being enjoyable listens, although i must admit, it's been a while.   (i'm sure some hippie will tell you about some random show from somewhere some time ago that will change your life, but you'll have to ask a stinky hippie about that.)

(yes, that video opens with a French "that's what she said" joke)

one night at sluggo's terry and i went almost the entire night responding with either "your mom" or "that's what she said" ("that's what my date said"- if 'she' didn't apply)

it's amazing how just about anything works.

I had a feeling, but I figure I will still give 'em another shot.

I believe I have worked my mind into a corner attempting to develop a use for the expression "spanking her uterus"

blues for allah was the first studio record by them that i totally dug...and still do..the sound is perfect...and beginning...help on the way/slipknot/franklin tower's is beautiful...the actual blues for allah gets a little spooky.

bootlegs will only work if you've been to a show...and had a head full of acid.

somehow they'd get the soundwaves to turn into parasites that would enter your ears and attach to your brain and remain there whenever you listen to another live show.
