my favorite post of the day was little david duchovney.
thank you, pat. the chairwoman acknowledges your brown-nosing and applauds it.

I think Jim is about our age. Which would have made him mid to late 20's there.
I've rearranged the fotos in chronological order somewhat.

I should probably do some work..

I used to dig Codeine quite a lot. Everybody else I knew that heard of them thought they were boring...

It's really cool that you got to know so many of the US indie rock aristocracy, Tripp!

Cap's Dad's review and BF's line about faking like he has an interesting job so his kid doesn't smother him out of pity were absolutely the two best parts of my day. I also smiled at jsg's new friend and her baby.
damn. my baby got DEEE-nied!
Wait, I missed a baby? I had about five minutes to read eight pages, so I kinda flew through. Must've been part of the other 95%.
Oh, wait there he is! Here's to baby Judah.
Babies are held in the highest regard in our house, since production of one is our household's stated goal for this quarter.
I spent too long at work today.

I can't even tell you how baby crazy we are in this house. KBABY radio--all babies all the time. If I'd've seen that pic the first flip--through I might not have even gotten any work done today.
Leading candidates for names for the potential newest addition to the Gocatgo family: if it's a boy, Laszlo (Latsi, pronounced "LOT-see" for short); for a girl, Susanne. The former is a Hungarian name (M_____ is from Romania but is ethnically Hungarian) and the latter would be pronounced "Suzanna" in honor of M______'s German best friend, after whom (along with my mom, Sue) the baby would be named. That one would be the motherlode for nicknames, since we'd have all of the following to choose from: Sue, Susie, Suz, Sanne (the German's friend's nickname), Zuzu, and most adorably, and the inevitable winner, the Hungarian nickname for this: Zsu Zsi (or Zsuzsica).

There is also a post from me, about a baby.
Also: I had my tubes tied 13 years ago and have no desire to have a baby, but all afternoon my friend and I were marveling at my current baby fever. I'd like to blame the wine and sunshine, but I think it's more that my uterus has been spanked so often by crappity all day, I simply can't help it.

Gosling's performance in
Half Nelson
was jaw-dropping.
I agree. (And the little girl, Shareeka Epps, too. The perfect blend of tough and vulnerable.) Haven't seen him in anything else, though. Lars & the Real Girl shot here, and a friend saw him around town quite a bit (he even asked her for directions once) and he is apparently even cuter in person.
Just like Kurt.
