I'm a day late, I guess. This is what happens when you read your Sunday paper on Monday morning.

Like you guys weren't gonna eat shrimp today anyway.

good.   Never been through one myself.  They seem like they'd be unsettling though.

....

WTF, cnn?   Anyone notice that cnn.com now offers t-shirt versions of their headlines??   each news story has a little t-shirt icon.

really??

i felt the 5.2 very unsettling, felt like someone was shaking my mattress, then i woke up discovered no one was in my room; and the roof was creaking for a long time and thought, big ass possum or racoon on the roof; then i realized no this is an earthquake...

felt the 4.5 on friday upstairs at work, shaking, shaking, shaking, all of my pens, pencils in a cup rattling around and my coworker up here was yelling kim, do you feel this several times, , no one downstairs felt it though.

did not feel the one at 137 am totday i think it was 4.

See, now this should be an "Out of 5": songs about ships coming in.

How about "The Waterfront" by John Lee Hooker? Holy crap, is that a heart-rending song.

I liked both of my purchases; last week i bought In Rainbows by radiohead, the new raconteurs album(spelling), and the new stephen malkmus and the jicks but i havent listened to them yet.  The Raconteurs isnt getting good reviews but i rarely agree with the reviews; will have to listen

i downloaded in rainbows when it came out a while back and put it in my ipod.  i don't think i've actually listened to it from beginning to end yet, but every time a song comes on the shuffle, i'm totally interested.  there's a lot of good songs on that one.  as far as the raconteurs goes, ehn.  i'll have to hear the whole thing before i purchase that one. i saw those guys live a couple summers ago before their record came out. they were pretty amazing. then i heard the record.  there's some great moments, a couple really good songs, but a whole lot of dull and cheese in between.  mostly because of that brendan dude.  some albums i like more and more the more i hear it.  that one has had the opposite effect.  so i'd have to be really impressed to spend some money on that.  let me know what you think once you get a chance to hear it.   i do plan on picking up the SM soon.
