I think it's probably the ghost of Abraham Lincoln and he's pissed off about gay marriage.

Today I'm involved in more high art.  Some jack-asses have formed a hot-wing team called FOWL BALLS and I have to draw an ostrich, a goose, a chicken and a duck with their testicles hangin' low.

I get paid to do this. hard to believe I know.

My Morning Jacket just emailed out a link to the title track from their forthcoming album.

Grab the mp3 if you're so inclined.

so k__'s grandmother in michigan is in bad shape.  non-reponsive, bleeding from places she's not supposed to etc.  they've only given her a few days.   so k__ is flying up in the morning with her mom for a week or so.  kind of a bummer.  they weren't real close or anything. matter of fact, she hasn't seen her since k__ and i have been together (13 yrs) but still. kind of more reason to be sad.  everybody should be close to their grandma, and she never really had a chance to, living 1000 miles away.  anyways, i'm home alone for a week.  so i'm bummed.  anybody want to come to florida and PARTAY?

So sorry to hear it.  mind atom all around to K and her family.

But, hells ya, I'm up for a party. Wink

I just got off the phone with my sister. My nephew asked for a pool from the Children's Wish Foundation, so the organization is putting it in this weekend. It's too sweet, y'all. Makes me sad, too, given the reason he gets a wish in the first place.

But I've been pretty much a sentimental/depressed mess the past couple days anyway (partly PMS, but also, the other night I had a dream about my friend Tina who died last fall, and thoughts of her knocked me out all day long), so doesn't take much to set me off. Sad

Probably a good thing I'm not drinking right now. I'd be right fucked.

Yay.

Just saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall and holy crap, is it funny. Highly recommend. Less balls-to-the-wall raucousness than the other Apatow movies, but more endearing in its way.
