here's some really uninteresting Grifters news.  Me and Justo went to Pho Hoa Bihn yesterday and who was there but Shouse hisself. It was only slightly awkward.  But I told Stan about it last night and he said "huh. I ran into Scott yesterday".

True story.

Boring, but true.

My neighbor behind woke me up at 9AM this morning absolutely blasting talk radio in his backyard. This is the same neighbor who calls the police each and every time I play the drums, even calling them when I played at 1 or 2 PM (As for night jams, my time limit was scaled back an hour to 9PM by the police who were simply tired of having to drop by). The volume of his radio in my room right now is louder than I would play it in my own room...but he is a whole property over. And it is TALK radio. @#$% Though the music break was no better, with plenty-o-shredding and his two dogs howling along.

Well, call the cops obviously.

He has it coming.

It could be related to my sushi experience. Why do bourbon, beer, and sake go so well with sushi?

Really?   Having a hard time imagining a bourbon-sushi pair up.

imagine bourbon with sushi served with eel sauce.  changes everything.  good pairing.

(for a relaxing time, make it "suntory time".)

yeah.

Dave was sitting with his best friend Sam who was always a great ally to der grifters and I hadn't seen him in years so I walked over and reunited with Sam basically and I said hey Dave and we shook hands. It was cordial and polite. No big whoop.

what's the term for the phenomenon of googling two words and it only having one "hit" on the entire internet?  "umamitastic" is only one word, and the same results.  (obviously, google has overlooked our dear crappity)

but i found "umami".  i bet that becomes one of those words that i've never heard before, but now that i have, i hear it all the time, and can't figure out how i've never heard it before.
