when der grifters did a reunion tour back in 2000 (with Califone) we played with MMJ in Louisville. I guess this was after their first record came out. The show was in a big dance hall and there were tons of OLD people there including the MAYOR OF LOUISVILLE. When they played everyone got up and did the old-white-person's dance. It was kind of a strange sight.
When MMJ finished everyone left.
