i must have been bit by a spider, when i was very small. because now i am grown up i spend five days a week going up the fucking wall. i must have been fenced-in to a long straight road when i was nine or ten because now i am grown up i spend five days a week going around the fucking bend...

Jeff, WOW .  for an extremely morose family event I should hope that I'm surrounded by half the beauty of that graveyard.  . seems like a gem of a memory though.

I don't mean that to sound snarky. I genuinely am trying to imagine the analogous situation in my life and I'm envious of the backdrop. Seems like it would go a long way as to making it a beautiful memory.

like, towards us.  I'm worried that global warming is going to produce more Torstrados  like the one that kicked our fuckin asses 5 years ago.  We didn't get major news coverage but that kicked our collective asses.

our power was out for a week.

Some people's were out for 3 or 4.

No, I know exactly what you mean. It's sad to bury a loved one, but at least when you get the chance to put them to rest somewhere so beautiful, there is that.

The other family grave is in the cemetery of the village of Torocko (TOH-roatz-coh) on this mountain:


and it overlooks this mountain:



It's the most beautiful place I have ever been.
